The Knife-Kit and Tunnel-Kit are sound sample kits based on processed field recordings. The recordings have been transformed into unique sounds through granular synthesis and convolution. The source material for the Knife-Kit includes various knives and a metal heating unit. For the Tunnel-Kit, recordings were done inside an actual tunnel. Impulse responses were also recorded (and included in the kit) that allowed the actual reverb of the tunnel to be recreated in the studio. All sounds have been individually chosen for their uniqueness and potential for use as source material for further sounds.

The sounds in the Bio-Kit come from recordings of palm tree leaves scraped with a stick. These sounds were then transformed through granular synthesis and other effects processing. All the samples in the kit were chosen for their unique characteristics, with a focus on their potential as source material for further new sounds.
