“The Tunnel” is an audio reconstruction of the descent into the tunnel. All sounds used to create this come from recordings made inside and around the actual tunnel. Through processing and editing, the space of the real tunnel was digitally rebuilt in sound. This sound not only rebuilds the space of the tunnel through time, but also the experience of descending into it’s depths. Through sound, this experience now transcends it’s original physical space.
